One Spa's Jamie Chalmers Wins Body Therapist Of The Year!

For the second year running Edinburgh's own Jamie Chalmers, Head Therapist with One Spa at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, has been named Body Therapist of the Year in the British Beauty & Spa Awards 2007. The award was presented last night by Ben Sheppard at a glamorous Awards ceremony in London.
The judging panel awarded Jamie the title of Body Therapist of the Year in recognition of his use of natural products and hands-on techniques, including hot stone massage and reflexology.
Jamie thanked the Awards' hosts, the Health and Beauty Salon Magazine for their commitment to the professional beauty and spa industry. "Being awarded the title for the second year in a row means a great deal to me, as I am proud to have the opportunity to help improve the wellbeing of others in an holistic way."
Mark Perkins, Spa Director of One Spa, congratulated Jamie on his win in the prestigious awards. "Jamie is a talented and dedicated Spa Therapist who daily demonstrates the high quality and consistent level of One Spa's service and philosophy," Mr Perkins said.
In 2006 One Spa achieved the highly coveted British Beauty & Spa Hall of Fame Award, for winning Destination/Hotel Spa of the Year for three consecutive years.
The six story building, with three split levels of Spa, the first of its kind in Scotland, offers a variety of holistic spa treatments and houses a wide range of facilities including an Ozone Swimming Pool, Rooftop Hydropool, Laconium and Serail Mud Chamber.

Health & Beauty Salon magazine launched the British Beauty & Spa Awards in 1997 to raise the profile of the professional beauty and spa industry by recognising and rewarding innovation and excellence throughout the industry.
